The doctor has issued a whistle that has been lodged for 2 months in Asep's body

Rakyat Utama. The doctor team of Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung managed to lift the whistle choking on Asep Yaya's boy (9). The process of lifting a small size whistle takes less than an hour.

Asep came to RSHS Bandung on Wednesday (12/19/2018) afternoon. The appointment process took place on Thursday (12/20/2018) at around 08.00 WIB.

The lifting process uses an endoscopic technique or a special tool that is inserted through the throat channel.

"So today the action and whistle have been successfully issued. It looks like half an hour (process) of appointment," said Head of RSHS Bandung KSM Health Sciences KSM, Lina Lasminingrum, at RSHS Bandung, Jalan Pasteur.

"It's (a whistle) not a stickiness, but a choke. If you swallow, it doesn't sound (the whistle)," Lina added.

According to him, the existence of this whistle is stuck in the main branch of the left bronchi. The position of the whistle is known through the sound that comes out when the boy breathes. Because when X-rays do not show the position of the whistle.

"It's not seen in X-rays because of plastic. Fortunately, the whistle has a sound, it says itself gives us direction where it is. We just use endoscopy," Lina said.

Although it has been lodged in Asep's body for two months, the whistle has no impact on breathing problems. After the operation, the team of doctors will conduct further observations. He estimates that Asep will be able to return home from Friday 21 December 2018.

"If it's good, go home. Care may be observed one day. Maybe tomorrow go home," said Lina.
